What is the eLAD Digital Portal?
The eLAD Custom Publishing digital portal provides a virtual, centralized platform for universities and bookstores to produce and deliver safe and secure digital versions of their custom content.
It’s all about choices. Students get to choose their preferred digital delivery method to access their course material: downloading a digitally protected PDF, using an iPad App or viewing on a cloud-based reader via the internet.
How do I use my passcode?
Your alpha-numeric passcode is located on your confirmation email you received after purchasing the material. Go to https://app.ladportal.com and create a log in, enter this code (it is case sensitive) into the Passcode Box to add the course pack to your library.
You only need to enter the code one time. Once the course pack is in your library, you are free to take advantage of any of the download options available.
What if the "code" I purchased isn't working?
If the code you purchased isn't unlocking the file please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information: Code, School, Course, and Professor and we’ll be glad to assist you.
What devices can I access my course pack on?
An internet enabled desktop or laptop computer with Adobe Reader or Acrobat. To utilize the iPad App, you'll need an iPad, or iPhone with iOS7.
Can I access my course pack from more than one device?
Yes, you can access your course materials from many different devices. However you can only be logged in under one device at any given time.
I can see my course pack but there are no download options.
This means you are on a device that is not compatible with any of our download options.
Can I print sections of my course materials like a course pack?
Yes, depending on the specifications provided by our publishing partners and professors. Students maybe able print specific sections of their course materials as well.
How long will I have access to my course materials?
Typically you will have access to your course materials for the entire semester, but this based on the rights given by publishers as well as the professor that created the content. Some content is available for much longer periods of time.
What can I do with my digital course materials?
Course materials accessed via eLAD are designed to act much like traditional paper based course materials. You can search, highlight, comment in margins, draw, take notes, comment, and create study guides.
Where can I find out the specifics on a course packet, lab manual or other course materials?
The course material "description" will be the quickest and easiest way to determine if your academic material has any variances or additions from standard course materials.
Can I get a refund?
Our refund policy matches that of our partners. Please check with our partner business or university that is selling the course material for more information.

I dropped a class. Is it possible to get a refund?
Proof of cancellation must be faxed or e-mailed to eLAD Custom Publishing within one week of the class being cancelled.
